The content of games with a PEGI 3 rating is considered suitable for all age groups. The game should not contain any sounds or pictures that are likely to frighten young children. A very mild form of violence (in a comical context or a childlike setting) is acceptable. No bad language should be heard.
Video games that show violence of a slightly more graphic nature towards fantasy characters or non-realistic violence towards human-like characters would fall in this age category. Sexual innuendo or sexual posturing can be present, while any bad language in this category must be mild. Gambling as it is normally carried out in real life in casinos or gambling halls can also be present (e.g. card games that in real life would be played for money).
Game content with scenes or sounds that can possibly be frightening to younger children should fall in this category. Very mild forms of violence (implied, non-detailed, or non-realistic violence) are acceptable for a game with a PEGI 7 rating.
This rating is applied once the depiction of violence (or sexual activity) reaches a stage that looks the same as would be expected in real life. The use of bad language in games with a PEGI 16 rating can be more extreme, while games of chance, and the use of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs can also be present.
The adult classification is applied when the level of violence reaches a stage where it becomes a depiction of gross violence, apparently motiveless killing, or violence towards defenceless characters. The glamorisation of the use of illegal drugs and explicit sexual activity should also fall into this age category.
A U film should be suitable for audiences aged four years and over, although it is impossible to predict what might upset any particular child. U films should be set within a positive framework and should offer reassuring counterbalances to any violence, threat or horror. If a work is particularly suitable for pre-school children, this will be indicated in the BBFCinsight.
General viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children.
Films classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. Adults planning to take a child under 12 to view a 12A film should consider whether the film is suitable for that child. To help them decide, we recommend that they check the BBFCinsight for that film in advance. No one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video work.
No one younger than 15 may rent or buy a 15 rated video work.
No one younger than 18 may rent or buy an 18 rated video work. Adults should be free to choose their own entertainment.

ActionDirector is aimed at action camera enthusiasts—individuals who own a camera designed for capturing action footage (e.g. GoPro, Garmin, Drift Ghost, Sony, etc.) or who use their mobile device for that purpose. They are likely to be young males whose active lifestyles leave them little (or no) time to edit the action footage that they capture. These users are looking to solve the two major video creation problems manifest within the action camera user segment: firstly they do not have enough time to edit the footage they capture; and secondly, they do not have the skills to create attractive cuts for sharing. ActionDirector is a highly tailored product geared towards this specific group of users. It can be thought of not as video editing software, so much as a specialized action camera accessory. Just as action cam users purchase extension poles, helmet straps, surfboard mounts and remote controls for their cameras, ActionDirector enters the accessory ecosystem as further option to enhance the utility of consumer devices.

STUNNING

ActionDirector takes raw footage and turns it into an action-packed highlight reel of excitement, ready to share.

Incredible 4K Movies
More than half of all action cameras sold can capture 4K video, but finding editing software that can cut and export 4K movies that consumers can enjoy on big screen TVs is harder. All the detail and crystal-clear resolution that an action camera captures is retained by ActionDirector when footage is edited and it's still all there when the finished movie comes out the other end.

Slow Motion Master—120/240 FPS Video
No action camera software competitor can match ActionDirector's mastery of high frame rate video. Super smooth slow motion is an essential part of every action video maker's arsenal, and footage taken at 120 and even 240 frames per second is crucial to achieving fluid slow motion effects. ActionDirector can not only import and edit video taken at up to 240fps, but uniquely among its peers it can also output the edited video at the same frame rate. This means that users can not only trim and discard unwanted 120/240fps action footage while maintaining the high quality of the original footage, but importantly, they can also apply color and lens corrections to high FPS footage without losing any of the frames and quality!

Action Audio
It's hard to tell a great story without music. The audio attached to most action videos is the shadow that tells people how to feel or what the tone of the footage is. An audio track with a long intro, dramatic build and easy edits points indicating where to play around with footage can make the difference between a clip that is good and one that is truly inspirational. ActionDirector lets users plug in any audio track, then provides the simple tools needed to fade it in, balance it out and mould it to their movie.

Share the Shots
ActionDirector makes it effortless to share the excitement with the ability to send freshly made highlight reels directly to YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, DailyMotion and other popular social video sites. Just another way that ActionDirector makes movie creation effortless!
